Hey everyone, im coming to Australia in Feb, landing in Brisbane to stay with my sis for a week then thinking of coming to Perth. I dont know anyone in Perth so will prob end up staying in backpackers. Do you have to have a car to get to the good spots coz Perth looks massive? Otherwise is there anyone else travelling perth around then who would be up for getting a car? I wana train for comps back in England next year so flats spots would be the best
Otherwise are there any kiters backpackers around as I spent a few months in cape town this Jan in one and it was so easy to get lifts off people?

hey mate,
A car would definitely a good option for Perth, depending on where your staying.. Good flat spots are predominantly woodmans point and safety bay.. they are both a bit of a drive out of perth, (woodmans point about 15 minute drive and safety bay about a forty minute drive)...
Depending on which backpackers you're staying at i could potentially give you a lift to these spots as i usually head out whenever there's wind...
