I can't find any reference to it anywhere else, but I was on Gumtree when this advert popped up. Anyone know any more?! I've had some great advice over the years and bought some great gear too. End of an era if true!

Sad news. Bought my first kites there and was thinking I might need a couple of Unions next Summer to replace my aging 5-line / C kites

Similar story..
Industry out pricing themselves for their demographic.
Flooded market so gear not holding value and lots of second hand bargains.
Internet shopping.
Australian Freight and taxes

. . and there is the point that the market aint growing. . . hasn't been growing for some time. And who ride's those Airush kites anyways??? Bets on that even at "sale price" they'll still not shift.

Why that? Airush has always had a good reputation. The world ain't revolving around WA. Airush is still one of the biggest player out there

I was interested in this so did a quick search...
Not counting the fact that I may have missed one (or two)
Also, not counting ANY of the surf schools unless they have an actual store.

Without Airborne, there are at least 6 retailers in Perth remaining.
