Pat01 said..I am a WA transplant now in VIC. Soon to head back over to the WA sunshine and keen to get my kite quiver sorted size wise.
I kite waves 90% of the time. Not going to go into the kites I have used in the past (and am using) as I am keen to get some unbiased answers

QUESTION: What three kite sizes would you recommend for a 70kg rider in WA for wave riding?
Cheers folks,

A 6m ,9m and a 12m if you want to be powered all the time and kite when nobody else is kiting because the wind is to light or when its a nuking 35 knot SWester!.
A 12 knot day comes through early season.12m with a nugget on a down winder being powered and getting a 100 waves as a posed to trying to get enough speed on a 6 m to get passed the waves for 1 wave before you pack it all up and go for a beer.
Heaps of 15-17 knot days through late september early october. Why tack out for miles having then to put your life jacket on as you are going past the 400 m mark. When you can jump on a nimble 9 and short tack and go up wind 3 or 4 hundred meters .
The question was for some ideas for a QUIVER!!! of kites for waves .
