A 10m evo is good and anymore than that and you wont be able to turn your kite fast enough for fun wave riding.You could stretch it to a 12m ,but I would look at getting a board which works well in lighter wind.
I bought a Shinn Speedball W18 (The bigger size)and I have been kiting in the waves all summer on 7 m kite doing downwinders and on the stronger days been tacking in and out fine in 20 plus knots.
Iam 83 pies too.
A good low to moderate wind board is going to give you good bottom end.
Proper kite surfboards are great in light wind and there is some great light wind surf TTs out there too.

Iam looking at buying a house across the road in Dawesville. Its a bit cheaper there Port Bouvard and it has a more semi rural type feel to it in some sections .Its a bit like kalamunda near the water .
The whole area is superb for young families.Its affordable with kiting on the estuary on one side for masses of flat water then kite surfing nice little waves on the other .Its the closest I am going to get to to living the island dream !.

Heaps of other good waves in the area which you will eventually find with a 4x4...

Port Bouvard always reminds me of Europe. Its beautifully designed and its very cheap compared to going north to the likes of Mindarie keys.Neighbouring Falcon looks a bit like boganville with a few to many hooligan burnout strips down the road and teens walking around with a slab of piss on the shoulder.

Dawesville seems to seclude it self from to much riff raft .Not all being so close ,but I didnt see as many burnouts or hooligans around .

You can get housed for under $300,000 in Dawesville ,but if you have $500,000 to spend you could get a really nice house in Port Bouvard!
