Just a general grunt cause just find it amazing that there seem to be so few women kiting round those parts.

Such a great sport and to be honest the local scene is a sausage fest! So what's the issue?

Oh and yeah single kiting ladies, ain't that many right? What's up with that?

Not that I'm desperate to find miss right or something...

That's because the sport is flooded with 50-60 year olds and quite a few weirdo's.

(I asked my kiter girlfriend who I met kiting 3 years ago) shes 26

yep lots of good people.

But as she says, I'd have to agree..

Not sad, just the way it is I guess. If lessons weren't so expensive more young people would take it up.

The groms are ripping it up in europe, the reasons much cheaper gear, and as you mentioned lessons, the are a few young locals chomping at the bit, but the cost of gear here is killing it for the youngsters, I've sold last years kites dirt cheap and given free lessons so they can get into the sport, the pain of letting my kites go cheap is outweighed by the look on their chops when they get up on the board,

Yeah went to qld mid year and was so surreal, nearly 50-50 girls to guys ratio. Here in wa your lucky to are one chick to every 20 guys. Guess I better gear up the misses and get her some lessons! A nice bakini line will always lighten the mood on a beach.
