Hi Guys

This is probably asked all the time, I am new to kitesurfing I have being getting some lessons and now want to buy my own gear.
The million dollar question: What type of kite and board would you recommend, I am about 77kg, 5”10.

I have being told to check out delta Kites and avoid C shape kites, my instructor doesn't have anything for sale at the moment.

What brands and models are good starter off kites.

Anyone In Perth have anything which would suit me for sale. I am looking to buy second hand at the moment with the intention of buying new down the line.

Cheers,

sounds to me your instructor should'nt be teaching you
any instructor worth his salt would give you all the info you need for a safe introduction to the sport

Hey if I were u I'd get a 10m maybe bandit or north. U should be able to get an ok kite on seabreeze second hand. Crew r always upgrading. Just make sure you take it to your instructor pump it up and get him to check it for you. Ask crew at the beach to help check your lines etc and throw up your kite for you until u get it Sussex. 2010 model kites r fine. Don't go older than 2008.

Airrush Lithium is a good easy to use, all round kite for a newbie, with excellent relaunch capabilities and good safety features. The newer kites have better safety features than the older ones.

Board - 138 twintip

I'm new (and all ready very addicted) to kitesurfing, had my first lesson yesterday in fact.
I did a lot of research in to gear for the beginner that will also suit when you get better. I found the Crazy Fly Wii Moo kite to be very popular with beginners and not to mention a quality kite, also as some one mentioned the newer kites have good safety features.

any way that's my 2 cents

cheers.
