Has anyone made the most of the peel inlet.
And if so what wind direction works?

First you must unlock the potential within yourself to trawl the brown waters with twin tip of the Mandurah crab King.. Or something like that.

In all honesty though it is very kitable in all places you would suspect for any given wind direction. Launching and landing is never really completely safe and there are not only thousands of crabs but low lying rocks hidden in the shallows.

Just go for a drive around wanjeep rd on a westerly/southerly and near the north side of the dawesville channel on anything with east in it. If you see kites out there will be friendly people about on the beach to chat to.

Hi mate, I live down there, that's my local flat water spot. Great on southerly through to nor easterly. Wannaup reserve is where I launch from. Imo, only good on and around high tide. Happy kiting

That's the danger right there. Number of people have been caught out. Speed kite no issue, but if you like to boost a tad, get some local info to avoid a trip in a white vehicle that has a Neeeee, Nawww, Neeee Nawwww sound.
