We are new to the sport and want to say a big thanks to everyone who has helped us so far. Especially the guy this evening at Point Walter who came over and gave us some advice on our kites and then took the time to come into the water with me and help get me started and gave me some really good tips. You really didn't have to but it was very much appreciated and made our short session this afternoon so much better than it would have been. At the moment it is about confidence building and doing the basics safely and you were very patient and informative. Did not get to say thank you so hopefully you may come across this. This seems to be a really friendly and welcoming sport/community where people are willing to help out with advice etc. Maybe this is not all the time but this is our experience so far! A smile and those little words of advice are certainly gratefully received by us as newbies. Thanks guys! :)
