Can anyone else agree, it feels like the windiest season in years and the most I've kited in years. Definitely enjoying it so far, bring on a windy Feb

Spoke with a cray fisherman , said in his 38 years in Dongara it's been the windiest year he can remember, 6am and it's already blowing

I dont have any facts or stats to make seasonal comparisons, but it has been way more consistently windy than the last few summers. My beach loving and fishing mates who dont kite are all well pissed off!

Definitely the windiest season we've experienced since being in Exmouth... It's not necessarily the amount of windy days but the overall strength of wind... 7m feels like a big kite these days... We have been starting lessons at 0800 to avoid the craziness of the afternoon winds, wall to wall windy.

A season 6-7 years ago is comparible. That year I only used a grunty 7 the whole season (90kg). We had a 20 plus day in mid April. This year is similar. Hopefully it will continue.

Great fish restocking management, imho it's why our fishing up here is epic, if it was flat tack each day the fish would be copping it, and we'd feel like queenslanders

A wet north equals a windy south and Midwest I reckon. Kununurra has had more than 400mm this month alone and we've had 6 out of 7 days 20-25kn. Last year they had 100mm in 2months and we had no wind Jan and feb.
