Anyone know if it is worth taking kiting gear to Cocos Islands mid January. 9m rebel.

Try a 16 metre and you'll get a few days in. I'll sail a 13 metre crossbow on a plasma board and will get going in 10 knotts which is considered windy for that time of year but think of it like stand up kiting, so long as you can keep the kite in the air the view is fantastic.
What are you doing up there?

Doubt you'll be kiting on a 9 metre but surfing, fishing and chillin sounds good. Have a great time.
