I have been wanting to try a long four hour stint at woodies for a while but havent as have heard of the nightmare car brake in situation there. However..was there the other week and was told by a past kiter that the theft culprits/kids on scooters with bag of screwdrivers etc..got a good bashing and arm broken about six weeks ago.

So i was wondering if there had been any incident in the last six weeks..if there has been or if you know of one ..please can you write it on here.thanks

I've been parking at the end carpark without incident for over 3 years. Bigger things to worry about I reckon.

Word is that a hairy fellow on two wheels is directly connected to a kiting nephew and the problem was explained. I cannot confirm but rumour is a scenario occurred involving a 'sitting duck' vehicle, binoculars, big bikes and some swift corrective actions were taken against their persons. Fremantle hospital have a record that matches this.

Wonder if they could drop in at northern leighton parking area, always glass about.

Can be pretty traumatic for the Britz camping german etc type kiters i've chatted with& for me serious organising with other kiters in a totally empty car just for peace of mind and an 'enjoyable day'

This is going to be a v adventurous experience when it finally happens..lol

There was one (or maybe more) hanging around Cockburn sound that spearos and linos have seen. Was kiting beach 1 the other day and a seal surfaced in front of me which gave me a bit of a scare.

I have seen one big fin years ago and heard 4-5 "big" shark sighting story's over last 10 years. Big Tigers caught regularly in Coogee bay, off the Jetty and from shore. I recon it's big Tigers not GW. Heaps of Sting Ray in the bay and Tigers love Ray's, I see them when diving under the jetty.

We should all get together and set a drum line off Woody's one night see what we get. I can get a boat for it. Beers on me - cheers.

Must have heard about 20-30 story's. I have put a motion active camera facing front and back to catch the little C*$@ts. I dare to try my car. Same goes for north Leightons. Cops will have your pics and DNA on record if it happens.

...Been down there and regular kiters say theres been no break-in"" incident for six weeks...must have done some good if true?!!
Also yes friend has seen a 4m+ defo great white there..and another hit one with his board...boom!! But not sure if the'board ramp' story was woodies....

u can kite right out to the drumlines if u dare @city beach..they are so.close!..thats if u can see them above the waves and western sun ..

Oh and thanks to the guy on the blue F-One who came in and helped land my kite as there was no one on the beach.
