having just done a pre season inspection my original xbow 12m i have realised that it is on its last legs, seams about to go etc. i will endeavor to keep it going but think i will have to upgrade sooner rather than later.
i'm about 95-98kg and feel i'm about intermediate skill level, i reckon i can only get $1000 dollars of spending authorisation from the financial controller, other funds are earmarked for new couches etc...
what i like about the xbow is the self-launch/land ability, depower, wind range and boost. what i don't like about it is that its a little slow in turning, huge bar pressure and the potential for inverting.
i'm really not fussed about wave riding at this stage and more into freeride/freestyle/staying upwind easily
if anyone has any suggestions for a single kite setup that will suit me in perth conditions that might come up second hand/ex demo/cheapo i'd love to hear your advice
