Up for sale is my 2008 model Pro Blokart. I've posted this over in the For Sale section but thought I'd drop it here too as I must move it along.

I'm the ex-dealer of blokarts in Brisbane. The only reason I'm selling up is my time is now required elsewhere. This particular kart for sale is my personal kart, and has only been used 2 or 3 times. It's been very well looked after - it even still has the protective plastic on the floorpan.

It comes with a 4.0m black sail, a 3.0m blue sail, 2 x spare rear tyres, 2 x spare rear tubes, 2 x spare pulley whips, 1 x spare fibreglass mast section.

I'm also offering as part of the package a 5.5m Black sail with Ultra Carbon mast sections.

It also comes with helmet, gloves, GPS. There's a couple of other bits and pieces I have too that comes with it - too much to list though.

It's a great package, and is everything you'd ever want or need to get into blokarting.

RRP of this package is well over $5000.

I'm asking $3700 ono.

Call Lee on 0413 455 831 or email [email protected]

Thanks!

Have you sent a PM to Daisygirl? She knew of some people who were considering getting into blokarts.

I have seen this one and would love to buy for myself as I finally got my tax cheque back yesterday!!

I must admit I dont like black sails personally (no offence to any kiwis) so is anyone interested in swapping a black 4 metre sail for a coloured 2008 sail??

I've got a black sail. They do look good, but they have one major drawback when racing - you can't see the woolies through them. You can see the wollies on the leeward side of the sail through the white material, but not the black.

A friend of mine had a black sail with a one light blue stripe on a catamaran.. Looked so good and infact one of the easiest yachts to spot at a distance on the sea.
He had small plastic windows cut into the sail approx 100-150mm dia to solve the tell tale problem.

Yes Arjay, this is actually true. I'd had a fair few email enquiries on this, however John @ Hunter Landsailing was the first person to actually call me about the kart for sale, and it all just felt a bit weird to be actually talking about selling the gear. I even said so to John at the time.

I do sincerely apologise if this has mucked anybody about. The kart may or may not be for sale after the Nationals. I'm sure you all completely understand how addictive this sport is.

As for complaints regarding current withdrawal of items for sale, please direct to aforementioned party of Hunter Landsailing!

See you up north,
Lee.
