Found this interesting bit of footage - TV Segment from Lonely Planet TV show about Lake Lefroy W.A. (spotted a few blokarts in there)

I have been wondering what it looked like.

Is this only a small section of it ?.. exactly how big is the sailing area ? What is the nearest town ?

Does anybody know anyone on this video ?

Cheers

Good find!! I betcha Paul and Susan will be able to tell you who each and everyone of them are. They inform me the town Kambalda is on the shore of Lake Lefroy, seach for it on google maps and you can see the lake and the tyre marks of the landyachts.

I'm thinking Paul and Susan might have to host a Seabreeze pilgrimage for us, the kite buggies and speedsail boarders

There's some nice looking class V's in there as well.

EEEB Bigg amigo! from the yacht club you can cut across the lake for 15kms then turn around and do a 40km run down the lake, turn around and wonder, "where the bloody hell did I come from,?". to the norh there are some mines on the lake and a big causeway. If you get past them there is a big 20x25km clear patch to cross to get to nobbs Hill.

They are nearly all Sandgropers LYC members, I think one of the blokarts maybe bugzy, bit hard to be sure as the footage if a few years old and hard to read the sail numbers. Shows the lake off though
cheers Susan
