In Brisbane we are meeting people while out and about sailing and they are interested in getting into blokarting but would prefer to start with a secondhand model until they work out if they really want to get full on into blokarting.

Over the last few weeks I have been involved in finding new homes for two second hand karts and have at least four other people who are looking. This got me thinking that there must be quite a few karts just sitting in garages not being used and looking for a new home.

The two that just got rehomed hadnt been used for 12 months so really happy to see that they are now getting a second chance at a new life.

Therefore if anyone does have any karts or know of anyone with one that is not being used why not let me know and I will see if I can keep some sort of match up service happening and hopefully we will then have more people joining our blokart clubs. Even if anyone has spare parts just sitting around let me know.

I have a contact for cheap courier services so interstate doesnt seem to be a problem either.

Great idea Daisygirl, make sure you tell any new owners about our forum!

I know Phil C doesn't want any for sale messages on blokart.com.au, but you should ask him if he would mind having wanted ads on there. If prospective owners see there is a demand for secondhand units then they might be more willing to buy a new one. A win - win situation as I see it!

Quote from blokart.com.au
"With more than 600 blokarts now sold in Australia and over 8000 blokarts sold world wide"

I am you sure would be able to find some not currently being used, and if you cant find any (gathering dust and cobwebs), get them into a Lake Lefroy Mini Yacht with the building instructions from seabreeze.

JUST GET THEM INTO THE SPORT
