hi all, i have a couple of class 5 land yacht, but am also interested in blokarts,, are there many here in south australia, where would i go to see them in the "flesh" so to speak,,,the ADELAIDE LAND YACHT CLUB sail out at Pt Gawler beach but i haven't seen any blokarts out there......
Is there dealers here in SA that sells them either new or used...how much would i expect to pay for 1....is there anyone who has 1 here in SAthat i might be able to perhaps look at and maybe have a sail i 1 before i go and get 1..........Is there a blokart club here in SA.....I believe that there was a guy at warooka on the yorke peninsular that had a few that he hired out but doesn't do it anymore,, insurance i think,,, does anyone know of him and how i can contact him as we have a holiday house at marion bay on 50 k's away and go there often and would like to talk to him if possible

cheers

Hi BB,I am the dealer for Perth.
There are three dealers for S.A,if you go to www.Blokart.com.au and click on dealers, up will pop the principal dealer as well as two state dealers.
Would be good to see Blokarts take off in S.A in a big way,I started the Perth Blokart Club up myself nearly twelve months ago and things have really taken off.
Cheers!

Taparoo is the northern part of the beach between largs jetty and north haven. also try the beach at north haven, up near the southern breakwater to outer harbour (mostly nw - sw winds)i'm away on yacht delivery on sun but sat looks good.

BRYN: Good to see you running again with the Blokart, to all with karts in his area, stick with him. between Bryn and myself we got Australia's biggest Blokart club going in Central Queensland, C.Q.B.C will be hosting the C.Q.Blokart Regatta Sept 12th-13th at Cape Hillsborough Mackay. At this stage we have in excess of 30 karts registered with 40 a realistic figure, Victoria has registered 5.
Regards to all The Old Fart In A Blokart

Hi Bryn,
What are these "thermals" you speak of ? We'll be practicing for the CQBC regatta tomorrow at Cape Hillsborough wearing shorts and a T shirt, (and shoes, sunnies and helmets of course). You should use up some of those frequent flier points and come back and visit. I'm sure we can supply a production kart for you to run in and see if you can defend your title. The club is growing all the time with new interest growing regularly.
Our club site is going well, check it out at cqbc.forumotion.net/
and keep in touch.
Remember entry date closes soon, so get in now to secure a place.
Darren.

Hello, I'm new to this as well as the happy new owner of a blokart!
Got it from James of Speedsail SA - great guy to deal with.
Haven't had many goes with the blokart to date but had a couple of fun runs on Taperoo beach on the last two weekends. Looking forward to meeting a few of the people I've been reading about for the past couple of years of visiting this site. Hope to catch at least some at Taperoo sometime.
