Hello
Iam Ruud and I live in The Netherlands
Kite buggying is my passion but I get more and more intressed in land / ice sailing .
Landsailing is getting to me more and more ..... Thats good
Iam not the buying kind of guy , Ill try to make it my self when possible !
Love speed and have bin to the NABX Las Vegas a few times and was there when Arie did his speed record run in the kite buggy 133,4 km/h .
The week before the NABX the blokarts had there week of fun on Ivanpha Dry Lake , this is where my intresse for landsailing got started ! I am working on a frame for a landyacht . The biggest problem is the sail .

Have Fun

Hello Ruudje, here is a link of how to re-cut sailboard sails to suit a land yacht.

www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Land-Yacht-Sailing/Sail-making/How-I-recut-sailboard-sails-to-suit-landyachts/

Sailboard sails are easy to find either on eBay or adds in your local area.

Thanxx
I do have some sails laying around here ( Neil Pryde RAF Speed sails +/- 25 years old )
I can cut them up to make a landsailer sail

"G-Day" Ruud.
Welcome to Seabreeze. Well if you have the sails to use then reshaping them will be the least of your worries.. Gizmo passed you the link so. DON"T Just stand there! Get a move on An Industrial Sewing machine would be a handy thing to have access to but a Sail Maker who is very tame would be even better. What ever you do there will be a body around to offer advice and me well I will be here to insult you when you are feeling low Go for it and ask when you need to.

Welcome to the forum. Pretty sure I saw a video at some point somewhere someone prepping the wheels for the speed run. If you have any info or video, would be very interested to see again.
