Any one got any ideas for fitting steering to a LLF Mini for children ?
I would like to rig mine with a smaller sail and suitable steering so children can learn to sail
Any ideas welcome

The kids have tried it out to exhaustion, it all works fine. the tensioning of the rope is done by pushing the original foot pedals foward, and locking them tight.
If you were building a yacht a bit bigger it would make a fine steering system.
not that different from your basic IMAC set up

I have that system on my Class 5 and it works fine
For some reason I thought it was too close coupled to work on the Mini
I am glad to see that I was wrong as it makes a simple system to set up for the kids

I had the same worry too , so when I built it I asked the kids " who had the Last crash" the they got off testing duties.
test pilot 1 just wasnt the right size for this test
