Lake George(Lower and middle lake) at Beachport SA is now almost dry and there is a huge smooth salt lake bed which allows for many enjoyable hours of Blokarting.
Just a couple of minutes from the town centre and you're there! If you know the SE then you would know that the wind rarely stops, for Blokarting you only need 9 Knots with a 5.5M sail.

Any recent pics?
Has the lake been drier since the draining of the farming land in the area or am I thinking of a different area? I saw something in regards to drainage channels in the Souh East of SA on ABC Landline program.

windsurfed on the middle lake yesterday on a speed board on the weed beds, water is very low at the moment but the middle lake definetly won't dry out, can blowcart halfway up beachport end and over robe road side of middle lake and all over the little lake, local blowcart guru (Bert fron Hamilton)karts there all the time, at easter seen a commodore going over 200 across the flats towards the middle lake and straight in, could see the mud flying up from 2k's away, he didn't know there was water up the end and just held it flat and then couldn't stop, 4 bogged 4wds and a full day to get it out, the channel to the sea will be opened in late June and will flood the lot again same as last year.
