Just in case you guys don't hang out in the sailing forums, it looks like BCF are clearing Harken stuff on ebay, or someone stuffed up.

There's some small blocks you may use, but also double and triple, all $10 buy it now.

ah chook, looks like we may have been ripped.

BCF isn't honoring any of the sales by the looks.
Myself and some of the other guys have had transactions cancelled, and refund given.

I don't want the refund, I want what was purchased and paid for in good faith.
Ebay has been advised.

Please let me know if your in the same boat, so to speak.

Thanks crusty, I'll keep you posted for sure.
I ordered and paid for 15 blocks on the 14th when you first posted and I've had no contact from anyone yet.

My gut instinct said too good to be true, but I convinced my self it was a big company being BCF, I have purchased from them before with good results, so may have been sucked in and just left holding a rope.

This came through at 7.35am this morning from eBay Crusty. 27th May.

Hi Chook,
We're sorry to let you know that BCF. -boating-camping-fishing cancelled your order and mentioned the reason as I'm out of stock or can't fulfill the order for another reason. The seller refunded AU $189.75 back to your original payment method, and you don't need to do anything else.
....................................................................................

Well that's one way to make money, as I had paid for the goods in good faith on the 14th of May.
Bit of interest off all their customers would help them a little along the way I guess.

Yeh not a very professional way to conduct a business BCF. No chance of the goods and they said we would be given a Gift card as compensation. No mention of that being forwarded to us.

I wondered if it was a disgruntled employee of BCF sticking it up them on the way out the door. Whatever the case it doesn't reflect well for them.

Like my old man always told me "If you don't speculate, you will never accumulate", so was worth a try.

Thanks for the heads up anyway.

I would be telling BCF to jam the gift card - insist on a full refund [with interest]

I am pretty sure that consumer law dictates thay cannot insist on gift cards - they either supply the goods, or offer you the choices of reimbursement.

Pay-pal reimbursed my account through eBay Stephen.
I have had no contact from Boating Camping & Fishing since the original email explaining how they conducted their scam.

Dodgy pricks.
