I'm working in Moree, north west NSW and thinking about building my second landsailer. I've only ever sailed on beaches in the past, but was wondering if anyone knows of any suitable locations within reasonable distance.
I suppose any normally dry lake beds would be pretty wet with all the rain this year.
Any suggestions?

youd have to find something up there. I would suggest getting on google earth and also getting the local topographic maps, then just check each and every drylake or bare plain you can find. here in kalgoorlie Ive driven out to over 150 lakes over the last few years.
the best surfaces are always to small. the best accessed lakes always too soft. , the best lakes are inevitably F*d up by Mbikes and cars, so some water to flatten them out over summer is a good thing
