The Lake is looking great as the water evaporates away. today there was a 4kmx4kmx4km triangle up against the causeway that is quite dry. the ponds are about 3/4 flooded.
the is a big chunk of dry lake to the east of the ponds of 5kmx3km x5km running all the way west to the peninsular.
there are deeper puddles up near the old yacht club, and the water has pushed further north than usual which should give us a thicker crust in this area than usual..
From the view on Red Hill it looks like all the best rains have fallen to the north and east , as that area is quite evenly covered and many of the drill holes in the area are getting a good covering of salt.
See you all at the end of the month.
Cheers Paul
