hi all say does anyone know if you're allowed to sail on cable beach in broome, saw some photo's of it at low tide and looks like it would be a good beach to sail on ,,,, also does anyon eknow where i can get plans for some of the bigger class yatchs i want to have ago at building one of those next,,, say a class 3 or something,,, i have my mini made from square tube, and also a mini 2 seater that i made and i bought a class 5 fro someone here in adelaide ( maybe i have to many) but would like to have a go at something a bit bigger on some of our dry lakes up north and thought it might be good to build something a bit bigger..
cheers

You could ask Faze 5 if he has plans or moulds. He's the only one I know of locally who has built anything larger than a class 5.

Have a look at some of the ice sailing sites in the internet

groups.yahoo.com/group/J14/

www.dmoz.org/Recreation/Boating/Sailing/Iceboating/
There are some with construction sections also try searching for plans for the DN ice yacht as they also sail these on land...

Adelaide isn't a brilliant place for big yachts as Pt. Gawler the beach starts to run out of firm surface just when you get them up to speed, salt lakes tend to be the best.
