g'day mate i land kite as well as land sail,, a good 3 wheel kite buggy you can pick up for about $500.00 there're not cheap thats for sure, as for kites if you're just learning go for something small at first say around 2 mts,,, be VERY CAREFULL as your feet can slip of the steering pedels and snap an ankle in no time,, trust me i know,,,most kite buggies are not fully enclosed like a land yacht and when you're learning the "ropes" accidents can and will hapen thats why i went away from bugies to land yachts (my old bones take longer to mend) a good quad (4) line kite which can be "depowered" quickly is best when learning i have found,,,,, go small first then move onto the bigger kites when you get better at it.........
