It's funny you asked, the single isn't bad but if your back is sore the twin will make it worse, Just Sayin. my neck and back have suffered on both boats. it sucks getting old lol not sure what the aussie's have.

The Australian version of the 'Manta' was called a 'Free Flight' made by Free Flight Hang Gliders which were based at Morphet Vale SA many years ago and owned by Colin Clark. Most of the yachts he sold were in DIY kit form, they came in 2 versions.... single and double and both versions used canteen 'lunch room' plastic chairs which put the put in a very upright seated position.
Very similar in design to the US version except it was a bit shorter in length, the front wheel was just in front of the mast rather than 500mm (approx) in the US version.

Stay with a Blokart.... Better design, better built and faster.
The old Free Flights were slow compared to other yachts, steering setup wore out quickly, and the thin wall Aluminium tube failed easily.

theres 2 old scout models in Boulder. I was asked to fix em up a few years ago, they bought a blowie instead. realistically it was easier to start from scratch
