Yep Spiggie not too hard and as a keyboard warrior for the arvo I'd suggest backwinding the main to try and get the boat heading astern so that the anchor really digs in. Still nice to watch though hey.

i thought he did a nice job i much prefer anchoring undersail always seem to have more control only difference is i usually fire the main halyard as i walk past the mast i find the bit of windage from the sail half doused enough to bed the anchor

Never solo, or on a gaffer, but spent plenty of time sailing in and out of marina pens, and reversing into the piles often shorthanded.... in some ways its easier as you don't have to deal with the prop walk
