You have probably seen this on line 7hrs ago but what a shame for Boatlocker to have to close. Bruce and his better half ran this for 2 decades or more - absolute salts of the earth - and then Mike took it over - he in the same boat.............I have bought numerous cleats, blocks, shackles, chainplates and numerous other items which demantia dictates I have forgotten here since 2000 - never had a problem obviously, all gear they sell is serviceable, there is no junk.............

Is there a white knight here that can step in and rescue them?

That would be the best outcome, hope it happens but fear it won't. If I recall right there was another such store on the south west side of the Tom Uglys Bridge called Marine Exchange but they didn't have anywhere near the range of the BoatLocker............Yara you must step in and buy up all the goods in one lot and start up your backyard garage sale.............

Unfortunately my warehouse is already full of boat stuff. However, with the RMS junking so many boats these days with good gear, I think there is a real need for an operation like this.

Where do all the seized boats go?
There have been some near me that have been seized over the years. Some have had decent gear on them. I'm after a ladder and most have had one. Shame if they are being scrapped.

Its on their facebook site;

www.facebook.com/seapowerboatlocker/

Guess they will close when a certain % of stock has been sold........you could facebook message or call them to ask.

With the shutdown announced last night it might be impossible for people to get to them.....
