I will be fitting a oil pressure Gage as well as the warning light and have n idea what the Bukh DV 20 oil pressure runs at
Also wanted to know the thread size on the sensor as I forgot to look when I was down there last .
I sort of figured the oil pressure might be around 10 to 25 PSI and wanted to buy a VDO gauge with this reading in mind.
Or any other brand recommended
Cheers

Assuming an engine in very good to excellent condition your oil pressure should be between 2.0 - 4.0 kg/cm2 or 28.5 - 57 lbs/square inch @ 2000 rpm.

An engine in less than perfect condition, the pressure curve will be commensurately lower, possibly in the range between 25 -45 lbs/square inch @ 2000 rpm.

The 3-cyl Bukh I last worked on had an oil pressure sender with a 1/8inch BSP thread.

Your first choice of a VDO is very good, well known brand , available anywhere and reliable.
