Hi I bought a Cole contessa 25 8 months ago and after putting a new engine in her and antifoul extra I took her for her first sail. She is beautiful. Does anyone have information on this boat - beside the specs which I have found- but what I need is a Manual or at least someone who knows about them.

Baby version of my Cole 43. Pretty much the same underwater shape. They sail and point well. Congratulations on your choice!

Well done, great yacht. Don't expect a manual was ever compiled. See prior threads and a youtube which may answer some questions. You could PM persons on these threads who owned one?

I used to own a contessa 25 in Pittwater.

I loved that little boat. I have a Cavalier 975 now but I still miss the Cole.

One of the most beautiful looking yachts ever and they sail like a dream.

Hi
Also just got a Contessa 25 - Finally, after missing out 30 years ago - on Lake Macquarie .
Am told is the prettiest boat on the Lake !
Lovely to sail, but very limited interior -a tent with a solid lid ! but only for daysails .
Manageable sails - all stored below - use working jib with luff downhaul back to cockpit ,as no furler .
No Dodger, but Awning to make cabin habitable. ? Big Hat/Scarf + fishing shirt/pants to beat UV,especially reflective ,as close to the water .
Have 24in/54lb El Trolling motor to get off mooring , also 6hp short shaft Johnson is more than adequate . Had 8hp Mariner that brought her in/up the channel on delivery from Sydney.
Easy to manage solo,or with passive passengers, but space limited,so have to place them properly !
