It's great. Somebody put it up in the general forum.

I haven't played with it yet but the imagery is amazing. Is it possible to pull extra data off it?

Very interesting, update frequency is every three hours and it appears that the only manipulation allowed is zooming in or out, marking your position on the map by left clicking and altering the pressure gradient to obtain wind data at higher altitudes (handy for flyers). Apart from that it no other manipulation is possible, more fiddling and looking required.

If you look at 26500 meters just above New York it's doing 181kn

If you open up the image the highs and lows are obvious. I should say that I have it set in bookmarks to open showing NSW. When opened to show the whole continent the highs and lows are visible.

That's some sexy looking wind patterns.

I like to use the wind layer on the www.marinetraffic.com/ site. You can click on the barbs to get sub details. Plus it has all the ais data.
