What are you planning to change the globes for? LED's?
Do not want to disappoint you but it won't work, most likely.

I thought everyone was changing to LEDs. I was just looking at ledsonline and they specifically sell them for mastheads and nav lights.

I had finished 're-rigging my tub and l was thinking the same.
It turned out, those led lights they are selling as 'replacement bulbs' for old type mast head lights are not compatible with the regulations.
One could replace them, but they are vastly inferior to the proper led's.
There is a safety concern as they are not visible from the regulation distance.
If you need a survey one day, it is not going to pass if you live long enough according to an electrician.
Got all replaced, masthead and anchor light, steaming light as well. The super bright deck light itself was worth it.
Now the juice consumption is less - burning them all - than one old deck light was before.

And l am legal to boot!

it's not that LEDs are not okay, however some may not meet the required regulations. the same issue can happen with non-LED lamps too.

The only thing I can find in the regulations is what types of lights are required for the size and type of boat you have. The is no mention of led or incandescent. In is funny the smaller the boat the less amount of light is required.

Doesn't make sense to me trying to save a measly few bucks putting eBay bought globes in OEM gear when there are warnings such as this.

I sense a drift here, from the original question of 'change globes' to general 'change for LED's'.

Old lights, tricolors, anchor lights etc. refurbished with led globes. It is a nono, l was told.

There is - of course - nothing wrong to fit led. units like 'Aquasignal's' to ones mast head.
I did it myself recently.
I was warning against removing the old halogen or incandescent or whatever globe from the old light and replacing it with unknown quality led globes.
The replacement globes - l was warned - are the peccant part as they are not regulation quality.
The whole light and wiring ought to be changed. The complete unit for appropriate quality.

I could not be happier with my new led lights and so are my batteries.
