Hi all

A mate of mine is looking for a boat around 30 foot and I saw this one on the net

yachthub.com/list/yachts-for-sale/used/sail-monohulls/endeavour-30/162896

Wondering if if anyone has any thoughts on them

Regards Don

There is a fair few of them about. I don't know much about them apart from they were built to race as half tonners. Love the interior layout with the engine in the right place and still a fairly short shaft. Not so keen on the wheel steering.

Before rushing off to buy check other boats in same price range.

A while ago I bought a Mottle 33 which was a very nice racer cruiser with separate aft cabin, dumping wave proof centre cockpit and very nice Adams hull design.

At the time I looked at Endeavour 30s but decided the Mottle 33 was much better for the same money. My feeling was that the Endeavour 30's were a bit expensive for what you actually get.

When I bought the Mottle 33 I owned a Spacesailor 24. I looked at the Endeavour 30 as an upgrade but concluded nup. I didnt think the space in the Endeavour 30 down below was untilised very well. In other words I found that sitting and working down below in my Spacesailor was more comfortable than the Endeavour 30.

Only my opinion, everybody has their own taste. Its a pity when evaluating boats its not usually possible to spend time on them to gather a feeling.
