Once the sun come out we are going to head out on the boat for a couple of days of relaxation. For us that means sleep, eat, read a book, sail a bit then sleep, eat, read a book, sail a bit.......

So I need a good boat book to read. Good boat books lately include Rob Mundle, "The First Fleet" ; Peter Fitzsimons "Mawson". Both are well written, easy reading but teach you something. Anything by Fitzsimons will be long and takes a big investment in time, but the Mawson book is worth the effort.

Any ideas on further reading?

I like true crime...not sure if thats your cuppa. Just read marching powder. Very interesting story written by an Australian who met a black English trafficker in Bolivia and about his interesting jail time. Very interesting indeed. The jail wasn't run at all by guards but by prisoners where they had their own economy. you had to buy you're own cell and you got deeds and stuff with it. you could own a restaurant and even go out of the hail for the night. This became a tourist attraction as people would visit and even stay in the jail.
currently reading ice man, about a mafia hit Man.
