Hi all,

Wondering if Iridium Go Sat or anything similar will get an upgrade or atleast something a little faster speed wise... Currently its at 2.4kbits/s. Im not looking for speeds to watch youtube or anything as I actually love being detached from the world when sailing however;

It would be good to get something a bit faster to use say WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger to stay in contact with family and friends and ofcourse to get faster weather files... What do you guys currently use and have you heard anything thru the grape vine re upgrades? Two friends said they have heard of an upgrade sooner or later but I can't find anything on this.
