I specifically excluded that sort of stuff I can do myself so I wouldn't get charged for it. Despite this, when the stick went back in he double checked that he didn't want me to set up the sails, reefing etc. There was a protective chock missing between the mast and the roof where the mast went in and he came back, de tensioned the rig and added the chock in. I am sure if there was chip paint, he would have fixed that too.

Yep, probably my presumption that you drop off a boat as is, however upgraded when picked up. Quote said disassembled and reassembled rig blar blar... they disassembled sails/lazy jack/bag... just thought it would go back on.
Next time I guess to go into more details, I would of been fine doing it myself...if I had known, or told.. Imagine arriving without inspection to sail Pittwater/Sydney with hours work setting up the rig...
Lesson learnt... glad I pre-checked
