Nah, one of the big stink boats would still go through there at 25 knots and flood the tunnel

Looking at those two concrete structures straddling the channel I thought of Scylla and Charybdis (see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planctae). Justice at last for the stinkboats!

That example is shallow and narrow channel. Would have strong tidal flows if at the Spit.

They should go back to the punt. they will be talking about this in the next 60 years like the discussions and the feasibility studies continue no .........
