Could someone recommend preferably based on personal experience a reliable diesel mechanic and shipwright with haul out facilities in Sydney or Pittwater, please?
After trying many different ones and getting shafted, I have found Pittwater Marine at Holmeport Marina to be good value & very reliable. Phone 99972411 and ask for Steve. I have recently had my shaft seal replaced by them and they now do my regular anti-foul. I originally went there to have my hull soda blasted (and they did a great job). They also service my Yanmar, even though they specialise in Volvos and Yamahas.
I can highly recommend Castlecrag Marine. Two slipways, onsite mechanic, and of course shipwrights, along with work berths and moorings. Run in a friendly "Can Do" manner, and they do great work. Contact Michael, 02 9958 0425 .
