If one looks at the r e a l indicator at 500mb, ain't much in it. Not for us in Sydney, anyway. Synoptic charts are good for TV. MSLP@thickness gives one a clew...it's just the hysterical spring time weather. For Sydney.
It's not as bad as previous years in blowbember , managed to find a window to take a Cat from S.A to W.A a few weeks ago. Going by what you have posted from BOM next weekend will / could be a bit crap.
