I have 20 years of boating experience (all stink boats as my friend likes to call them) and intend to buy a 28 foot cruiser / Trailer Sailer. I currently own a Chivers Sports Fisherman 18 ' 6" power boat good for day fishing, but I am working towards extended trips in our north west, Island hopping for months at a time hence the trailer sailer.

I need general sailing experience if you would like to try and teach an old dog new tricks (sea dog that is)? I would like to think I am a quick learner, I read books and watched the videos but I need bum on the seat preferably at the helm but at 100 kg I would make good ballast on the rail.
