Hi guys, i recently acquired a yacht that previously had a Snapfurl furling headsail installed. However all the hardware was taken off for transport, and i now have to re-install it all. My qualm is though, does anyone have any tips on getting the PVC extrusions onto the forward stay?
I had to buy new foils as they are a single use item, once they are unclipped and taken of you can not use them again! The foils (extrusions) come from the company coiled up, and have probably been coiled like that for years, making it almost impossible to get onto the stay, i might mention at this point that the yacht is currently moored also, just to make matters harder.
Should i jury rig the forward stay, and try clip them on that way? Anyone have this system and have any tips?? I gave up last time i tried, but i must get them on this time, if only to justify the expense of the foils.....
Cheers!

Hey cisco, im hearing you mate, but it just seems a waste not to use it, also we do a fair bit of shorthanded sails, so having the ability to furl the headsail is a big bonus, also leaves me with more room below not storing a myriad of sails. By the way the yacht in question is a Sonata 26 Trailer Sailer, Cheers
