Gday all, bought an old tasman tiger dinghy. It is basically all there, but lacks some odds and ends.Question ,has any one owned one .It seems to have no method of retaining the centreboard,no fittings on the board except two rubber stops. It has no traveller guessing it copies the Laser. It also is missing the vang but that is straight forward. There is also a chrome ring on the boom, loose on the boom but stopped from being removed by other fittings ,what is it?It also lacks outhaul ,downhaul etc but working them out should not be too hard. Finally worth keeping or clean up and move along for something better(getting back to a dinghy after a very long absence ) Thanks

They either had a rubber wedge on the front or a piece of bungy cord across the rear of the slot I think. Use a safety cord as well that is long enough to pull the board right up but not escape with a clip attached.
