Yes that is exactly the strip of hull I was talking about and it is the algae which is the challenge.
So again fully agree with dralyagmas but there must be an environmentally legal easy and not too expensive solution for this?
I just found Green-Genie but they seem to be in the same boat as StarBrite and BoatBrite as being just spiffing on trailerable boats out of the water with a bit of scum.............which would all clean off with a bucket of water and a bit of old towel and elbow grease............

They seem to have more products than 5 sticks can be poked at............maybe I just need to stiff bristle broom this area more often say once a month, like I should do the rest of the hull and rudder...................
