Hi, anyone know someone on here between Hervey Bay & Rockhampton who may be able to teach us sailing? Very keen to learn from an experienced sailor, preferably with blue water experience too. We are quick learners who are considerate and polite. Thanks, Dylan

We are in Yeppoon for the rest of September - would like to get sailing asap. Anyone around with a boat who is keen to take us out? We'd help in return any way we can - boat maintenance, etc. Thanks. Please send me a message. We are late 30s and early 40s.

Just buy a cheap catamaran or something for a couple hundred $ and figure it out close to shore and go from there.

^ I agree. That boat will teach you how to sail.
Get it up into thr Great Sandy Straits and a whole world of sailing will open up to you.
