I was just reading the report on the news about a woman being attacked by a croc in the Kimberlie.

The report said that it was "unsure" whether the woman was aboard the charter vessel at the time.

Give us a break, surely if she was aboard the vessel she would have not become croc bait.

Howling down by experts on this subject welcome.

With training, ie feeding by operators and others, they can leap out of the water for almost their whole length

And fast, oh they are so fast !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wasn't there another girl taken from the deck of a boat up there some years ago?

Last I heard a helo is going in to get her.

Hi NSW,

I have seen a few pics of wind generator blades which have been attacked by crocs also a wind vane and I have seen a four meter croc leap so far out of the water that none of it's body was in the water.

It's the absurdity of the statement that I was commenting on.

It's a bit like the ridiculous statement "he died of heart failure". If his heart was still beating he wouldn't be dead, would he ?

Hi NSW,

The girl taken some years ago was endeavoring to swim from one boat to another. Unless your referring to something else.

From what I can recall, I think alcohol paid a part in the swimming attack. (I don't think the croc had been drinking)

The croc problem is only going to get worse.

I'm all for looking after the environment but I'm also all for looking after number one.

The girl I'm referring too may have been taken from the deck of a boat over ten years, maybe even longer, ago.

I've seen the feeding of the rouge crocs at Derby, they are big, cunning and REALLY fast.
