Just a little question- does anyone know of anyone who has a 40 foot + yacht for a 1/2 day skippered charter in and around Devonport/Port Sorrel/Shearwater? We are doing a weekend of work down there and would love to have a 1/2 day sailing around should the weather be ok. We have five people and would be looking at Sat 14th April.
Any feedback welcome.
Two of us have plenty of sailing experience.

Hey,
Unless you can find a kind soul to take you on their own boat you won't find any sort of charter boats down here. I work about 500m from the Devonport Y.C. and there is about a total of 30 yachts here!! Not even the poeple/business for much of a power boat hire business.
There is a large (60ft) steel yacht in survery on the Tamar that he takes people to Antarctica on but I don't know his details or if he does day charters. Tamar Yacht Club might be able to help you if you contact them.
