mmmm....interesting. 10 races, no drop. They have now introduced a "medal race" the top 10 from the 10 race series all race together with double points up for grabs. Do you sail?? if so what class?

i currently sail on a 50 foot yacht (the ex grant wharrington "wild thing") but used to sail cherubs.
that format does seem pretty crap i have t admit. i would rather just see a normal regatta format say 8 races and 1 drop.

I recon they should bugger off the old keel boats they use in the Olympics. The Mumm 30 or Melges 25 would be far better to race in, and watch. Anyone remember the Ultra 30's (30 foot skiffs with 6 crew that raced in Europe), they would get people watching and make the crew WORK for the medals.
