I have a Hood Seafurl as well. The handbook says they have to go to a dealer to have the bearings replaced. I would suggest trying to find an agent first and getting a quote.
I've got the manual aswell.. the drum and all the sealed bearings are in perfect order. Its the rubbers that are concealed within the extrusions wich are cactus. Probably why i was getting horrific forestay sag.
Thanks guys..
Have been in touch with hood.. they said they may have some spares in the basement. They're going to check on monday when the guy who deals with that is back.
Think i may just can the furler all together and get hanks on the sails.
Better for racing anyway.
