hey i am converting a cherub to a single handed run about that i can take out on the lighter days after work etc...
was wondering if anyone had any self tacker tracks/tackle kicking around that i could grab, or if not then is there anywhere that sells/ makes them.

I scored one a couple of years ago from the F18 guys ,Hobie Tiger or Nacra F18 or the newer infusion , you could try the tornado guys ? Jump on the catsailor.net forums and see if anyone has got a spare or 2nd hand one!

adamscherubhull.blogspot.com/ -> here's one done by a mate of mine over in sydney when he was building his new cherub from scratch.

It's not actually a hard job to convert to a self-tacker. You need to make a couple of raised brackets for your cherub (alloy or stainless or if you want to spend the dosh, carbon isn't too hard either) and get the track bent - it's a custom order from ronstan, but they do it all the time so it's not too expensive.

Then bolt & glue the brackets to the deck, bolt the track to the brackets and fit out as necessary from there.
