These 2 foil groups seem very similar in reading the details and looking at a few of the reviews and videos. Only real objective difference is the AR and the shapes.

From description and reviews
But both get up on foil smoothly.
Both have heaps of glide.
Both pump very good for connecting waves.
Both turn well. - Oskar had a video with Mateo Ell. Mateo was ripping on the DW 685 foil and Oskar I am assuming the new HA before the public announcement.
Both have lower stall speeds.

Curious to hear going forward about someone riding similar sizes for comparison of the two.

They are more different than you are suggesting - and that's just looking at them on land. Foil section and outline are miles apart. mateo and osker will make anything look like it will turn well. Very different foils man on and off the water. ??

Thanks Eppo,

I found these recent videos which answered a lot and make me want to spend all my money. Posted these in the wing foiling section under the armstrong HA thread too because this info is gold

I just had my first surf testing session on the DWP930. This thing has a huge amount of lift for its size and turns very well at the right speed. The only reason I would look at the new HA range is "ventilation.".

I will be interested in a comparion between the DW685 and the HA680

Tested with 7,7 dragonfly, performance mast 795, 60 fuse, pump 202 no shim. (yes, pump 202 is my selection as it generates a lot of front foot pressure)
