I don't see too many downwind foilers on the water and those that I do see disappear into the distance in no time. If there is anyone out there in SE Qld learning to Downwind in the early stages and keen to share the pain and car shuttle with me let me know.

I am based on the Sunshine Coast and have done a few short runs (3kms), mostly paddling and a bit on the foil along the Sunshine Beach and Kawana stretches.

It looks like a good run of Northelies for the coming long weekend and am thinking of some bay runs in Scarborough / Redcliffe area.

If anyone is keen this weekend please let me know.
